50th Wedding Anniversary

We want to personally thank you for the wonderful food that was presented in our 50th. wedding anniversary on May 10, 2014, at Bejing Banquet Hall, Modesto, it was fabulous. We are from Hawaii, so we know good food when we eat it. Thank you! Our son, I think did the arrangements with you, Leo Dos Santos. If not, it was Lenay Longmeyer our daughter. It was a surprise so I don't know which one talked to you. Everyone enjoyed the food so much. So thank you and Mahalo.

Hawaiian food at its finest!
We hired Malia to provide some hawaiian dishes to go along with our filipino food. We ordered trays of kalua pig, garlic shrimp, lomi lomi salmon, mochiko chicken, mac salad and spam musubi. Malia was patient and offered great insight in achieving the right balance of hawaiian food and servings to compliment our buffet of filipino food. And, she was spot on! Its worth noting that her garlic shrimp was just as good as boiling crab or giovanni's shrimp truck on oahu. The kalua pig wasn't dry, very juicy with a good smoky flavor; while the mochiko chicken was crunchy tasty. The lomi lomi salmon had just enough tomatoes and green onion, as to not overpower the bits of salmon, and the kids killed the spam musubi, true island finger food.
All in all, her food is onolicious!

I first encountered Hawaiian Legacy Catering & Design at the 2011 Sacramento Aloha Festival two years back. It's rare that I actually remember who is catering the food for an event, but their delicious, authentic Hawaiian dishes were so amazing that the name of their company was branded in my mind.
The proof is on every plate: Shoyu Chicken, Kalbi Beef, Chicken Teriyaki. It's all finger-licking good, and just smelling the food as they prepare it is enough to make your mouth water. I can still taste the kalbi beef ribs and their unique sweet and savory flavor. It's honestly some of the best catered food I've ever had.
Besides serving up great eats, Malia and her crew are just about the nicest, laid back group of people I've encountered. They are professional and timely and can meet the needs of any event.
Now it's two years later and I asked Malia and her crew to cater a private event I'm organizing. Whether you are organizing a party formal or casual, and no matter the theme, call Hawaiian Legacy and give some Hawaiian food a try! Mahalo!

Baby Shower at Private Residence

The food was AMAZING!!! Delivered promptly and had sooooo much! Our guests truly enjoyed all the wonderful dishes and were able to take some home from our Baby Shower! Malia and her crew are so nice, wonderful and respectful! She is a truly kind soul along with being an amazing chef! We loved every bite!
